Had a lovely experience as a small group of 3. The food is excellent, the waiters really, really lovely and the wine that we tried was delicious. We ordered the Hake and Fish and Chips - both dishes were excellent and the amount of food served was generous. Costs: We spent around 28€ per person for a main, bottle of water (shared) and a glass of wine each. Would definitely recommend and come back!
We went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch and it’s surprisingly huge inside. It was really busy, so I’d definitely recommend booking in advance. The menu had a good selection – I tried the fish curry, which was packed with veggies but I felt it could’ve used a bit more seasoning/flavour. Desserts were great though! The fish and chips looked amazing, so I’d probably go for that next time. The staff were nice, and even though it was busy, service was pretty quick.
This was perfect little corner of Cork!! What wonderful food and service. They bent over backwards for us. Such a delicious meal!!
The restaurant is maintained very well. The food was good too. The staffs were nice. We booked our table in advance and we got a very good service by them. The toilets are nearby area were also maintained well. You also have option to sit outside. The price was reasonable.
I was surprised by how good the food was here. We arrived without any booking and the restaurant was very busy. We managed to get a table outside. I had my heart set on the bacon collar and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly cooked, the sweet glaze on the meat was so good, everything on the plate tasted delicious. We also shared the rhubarb cheesecake and it was excellent. Even though we sat outside the waiter kept checking on us regularly. 10 out of 10 for us! Thanks for the beautiful food. We will definitely be back when visiting Cork.
