One of the team that serve quality food every day, Lee has been with us for just over a year. Incredibly relaxed under pressure and well-liked by his colleagues he is a great asset to our team of kitchen and spends most of his time on the fish and meat section.
Stephen –Head Chef
Lives - Cork City.
In charge of all aspects of our kitchen. This is the engine room of our building and we could not function without it. Stephen provides leadership and expertise to other chefs. Once service is over it's all hands on deck in the prep kitchen and it's Stephens job to manage the quality, productivity and hygiene of his crew. Is fond of dancing on tables and speciality beers.
Marcin & Kasia – Floor Staff
Marcin and Kasia are well known to most of our customers in Market Lane. Both are always ready with a smile and a bit of chat or a recommendation. Passionate about good food and service and both possessing an almost supernatural turn of pace, they are well suited to our busy environment
Mamun – Starter Chef
Lives - Cork
Mamun has worked with us since 2007 in the kitchen where he began as a kitchen assistant. Very calm under pressure with a fine talent in the starter section, Mamun is someone passionate about his job who is always asking questions and is interested in learning as much as possible.
Judy and Tracey – Owners
Judy has worked in restaurants and cafes since leaving university in London in 1991. An economics graduate, Judy worked for international catering companies in London prior to leaving for Dublin in 1999. Judy has a food and general management focus within our organization. Loves spending time with family, trying out new recipes and dining out.
Tracey has hospitality in her blood as she and siblings all ran and worked the family pub in Dublin while growing up. Since then she has had experience in London, Sydney and Dublin and has managed bars, restaurants and clubs. With a strong focus on training, wine and service, Tracey is one of three local owners of Market Lane. Loves travel and dining out.
